Mini Moke was a classic utility car and it was manufactured From Mini by Chery Motors with its subsidiary. Now Sicar Engineering wants to bring back the car. It has been redesigned by Michael Young, but the new version that will be known as Classic Moke is going to retain most of the original features together with new safety specification and updated mechanics. For the first time, the car was built in the year 1959 and it was intended to rival the Land Rover so that it can become a small military car which may be delivered by the use of dropping it within the parachute. After 20 years of rest, the new Mini Moke is going to be released with manual and automatic transmission. A new classic Moke is going to have upgraded features which include braking system, safety designed with a fuel injected engine while the body will be rust proof. It is expected that Moke International is going to go green by using an electric version. E-Moke is going to reach to the top seed of 60km/h or 37.3 mph with the range of 120 kilometers for 74.5 miles at a full charge.
The aspect of the Mini Moke which is not usual is where the gearbox had been positioned. The gearbox is found within the sump of the engine and it shares engine oil.
